Borders Don’t Stop Disease. Vaccines Do.

by Medecins Sans Frontieres Australia

The need for vaccines is universal. Unfortunately, access is not.

Vaccination remains one of the most powerful and cost-effective defences against infectious disease. Each year, childhood vaccinations prevent between 3.5 and 5 million deaths. However, millions of people – especially young children – are under or unvaccinated. In 2024, 14.3 million children missed out on any vaccinations, so called 'zero dose' children.

In response to this, MSF is focusing on delivering missed vaccinations to children up to the age of five across 20 countries with the lowest vaccination rates.

Please give today to help Médecins Sans Frontières vaccinate more vulnerable people who urgently need them.
