Rock of Hope Place of Safety

Rock of Hope Place of Safety was registered as a NPC (Non Profit Company) to make a difference in the lives of babies and toddlers in crisis. In the current socio-economic climate, the need for places of safety has escalated and even more so for babies and toddlers.

Rock of Hope is an independently managed by Wouter and Mientjie Prozesky. Rock of Hope has had the privilege to look after almost 250 little ones since they started in 2011.

Families can be registered as places of safety to look after one or two little ones. We have a vision of establishing villages to accommodate the great need that exist. Villages of love and a family life that these little ones may never experience. Healing broken bodies, minds and showing them what it is to feel loved. Not an institution but a warm family with the necessary support and knowledge to assist these little ones and the families that care for them to make the best and biggest difference in their lives.

Support structures in the form of medical doctors and specialists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, play therapists and trauma therapists is part and parcel of taking care of each and every one who needs a little help coping with their circumstances and to help them become better.

To do what we do we need the support of our communities and businesses as funding is always the one factor that limits a dream. This is your opportunity to get involved and help making a difference in the lives of these precious little ones.
